QuickCall: How to setup Google Voice Account

Currently QuickCall only supports using google voice to place international calls if you enable Direct Access to voice mail with PIN required.

Important:When you use QuickCall to place a call using Google Voice you will be charged by your phone service provider for the call to your google voice number and by google for the call to the contact's phone number you selected on QuickCall

Please note that QuickCall you only try to place a call using google voice when the contact phone number is in full international format (e.g. #12123334444) and the country code is different than the one you entered as "your phone number"on the quickcall settings window. Otherwise it will just place the call using your phone carrier

On Google Voice (http://www.google.com/voice)

After registering your mobile phone number;
Go to Settings\Phones and edit your mobile phone settings clicking the Edit button.

Click Show Advanced Setttings

Enable "Direct Access to voicemail" and make sure to select PIN required.

Go to Settings\Voice Mail and define your PIN

To You setup Google Voice correctly

If by any chance it does not work make sure that you have the correct settings by trying to place a google voice call using the standard dialer for your phone.
1. call the google voice number assigned to you
2. after the call is answered type your GOOGLE VOICE PIN # (4 digits)
3. press 2
4. enter 011 (to start an international call)
4. enter the phone number you want to dial including the country code, area code and phone #

On QuickCall

go to QuickCall application settings:
1. check the "international calls" on the google voice panel
2. add your google voice number google assigned you when you created your account to the first box (phone #)
3. add the GOOGLE VOICE PIN number you created on the google voice mail settings
